Looking to find the perfect flavor combinations in coffee and snacks? This guide will help you navigate what kinds of coffees/espresso pair beautifully with different syrups, pastries, and more. This can act as a helpful tool for the winter season that is sure to be filled with cozy drinks and warm baked goods.

  1. Chai Latte & Gingerbread Cookies

Although it is not everyone’s favorite kind of cookie, there is no denying that a gingerbread cookie is vibrant and full of incredible spices that you will not find in your average cookie. By pairing this with a chai or a chai latte, these flavors will blend seamlessly. Chai and gingerbread contain many common ingredients like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and more.

  1. Mocha Latte & A Croissant

A simple pairing for a classic taste combination. Espresso and chocolate are an undefeated pairing for a season. The sweetness of the chocolate balances the bitterness of the espresso. A plain butter croissant ensures that other flavors do not overpower the delicious drink but act as a vessel to help you enjoy it. Croissants are the perfect dipping for all lattes and coffees.

  1. Vanilla Latte & Snickerdoodle Cookies

It is not a holiday season without some snickerdoodle cookies. A fun take on the average sugar cookies but rolled in delicious cinnamon sugar. This sweet cookie would pair amazingly with a classic not too sweet vanilla latte. An underrated but an extremely popular flavor for lattes and coffee.

  1. Dark Roast & Peppermint Bark

The rich, chocolatey, and minty flavor of peppermint bark pairs perfectly with the boldness of a dark roast coffee. The prominent taste of a dark roast pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the peppermint bark. If you have a sweet tooth, you can sweeten up this pairing with a peppermint mocha latte to match the flavor of the bark.

  1. Caramel Macchiato & Shortbread Cookies

Caramel coffee has a smooth sweetness that pairs perfectly with desserts that have a rich, sugary profile. The caramel's sweetness enhances the buttery notes of shortbread. It can also be a delicious treat to dip in your macchiato!
