Fall Drink Temptations: They Never Get Old

The fall season brings so many amazing and delicious flavors like pumpkin, maple, apple, cinnamon, and more. You can’t go wrong with a classic pumpkin spice latte, it’s a popular favorite and it is difficult to mess up no matter where you buy it from. However, why not try some new flavors this fall season? Experiment with combining new syrups, powders, and toppings to change your pallet this fall.

Personal Favorites

Starting off with my personal new favorite fall go-to drink, a vanilla and maple iced oat milk latte. This is my favorite order at Java Love whenever I am in store. I prefer doing hot espresso shots rather than the coffee concentrate shot but either tastes delicious, just depending on the level of caffeine you’re up for. To utilize the new cold foams offered at Java Love, I try experimenting with pumpkin cold foam or vanilla cold foam when feeling extra special.

Two other favorites from our social media team come from Mary and Emma. Mary’s favorite is an iced chai latte with pumpkin cold foam. Perfect fall flavor combination with chai, from our favorite chai company, Yogic Chai, and pumpkin. Emma’s favorite is an iced coffee with pumpkin and oat milk. A classic pick me up with a new addition of pumpkin for the fall.

On The Rise

One new fall flavor on the rise is maple syrup. In store we use pure maple syrup for that amazing rich sweetness with notes of caramel. Maple pairs well with dry pumpkin spices or cinnamon. This can be done iced or hot but as the chilly weather approaches you may want to opt for the latter.

An underrated flavor of the fall season is sage. Sage is not your typical spice for coffee but can pair nicely with certain flavors. Sage has more earthy and herbal tastes. Try experimenting with sage and maple in coffee or sage in certain teas like green tea or herbal teas.

A few flavor growing with the popularity of things like apple butter is our caramel apple butter syrup. Apple butter is a smooth spread similar to peanut butter but swapping the peanuts for apples, with additional ingredients like cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Apple butter syrup adds a delicious apple taste, sweetness, and warmth to any coffee. This syrup would pair excellently with a chai latte or regular latte.

For the tea drinkers, try a citrus ginger tea for the fall season. It steeps into a lovely orange and red shade to get you in the fall spirit. The aroma is zesty and vibrant and will be sure to keep you feeling warm.

Fan Favorite

One of our favorite items that makes its way back to our menus every fall is our chaider. The drink is a combination of chai concentrate and apple cider. To go the extra mile add things like caramel and cinnamon. This drink is fall in a cup and will keep you coming back for more.

Classic

Lastly, a tried and true classic is the pumpkin spice latte. For a sweeter pumpkin flavor, the pumpkin pie syrup is the perfect choice. A combination of the two would be unstoppable, the spices of the pumpkin pie syrup and the sugary blend of the pumpkin pie syrup. This drink is a classic for a reason and is sure to get anyone in the autumn spirit.
